When going on adventures the player will do so by traveling to wild islands full of resources to gather, ruins to explore and monsters to encounter. These islands will be randomly generated, from a choice of different biomes, interactable content and island size.
Players will find sources of basic resources: trees, stone, ore, edible plants for cooking and alchemy reagents like herbs and flowers. These resources are used in construction, equipment crafting, and the preparation of consumables.
There are also animals. They can be either passive or aggressive. Aggressive ones will attack the player if they are spotted, however avoiding a fight is entirely possible if you use stealth. Passive ones will run from the player on sight, to successfully hunt them, the player will have to sneak up on them or take them down from range. Animals are a vital source of resources, providing animal skins for crafting and meat for cooking.
Besides animals, players will encounter more intelligent creatures and representatives of other races such as: Wargs and other Humans. Typically, points of interest where something valuable can be found like camps or caves will be guarded by groups of Human bandits and Wargs. Often the Wargs and bandits themselves will have valuable items that will be of interest to a vendor.
Warg camps are well protected, and within them you can always find something valuable. The choice to take the treasures by force or sneak in and grab them unnoticed, thatโs up to the player.
Moreover, you can find other points of interest on wild islands. Mysterious magical artifacts and ancient constructs that pose as jumping puzzles for the player house ancient treasures. Buried treasure chests and NPCs offering world quests can also be rewarding. Each archipelago will be unique and full of things to do.
