📦Decorative Item Collections

You can combine NFT decorative items of the same rarity to form a collection. These can be exchanged with the Collector NPC, that can be found in town, for a special currency called Collector Tags. The rarity of the collection determines the rarity of the Collector Tags you will receive, of which there are three; uncommon, rare and epic. You can then use Collector Tags of a specific rarity to purchase Decor Boxes containing decorative items of that rarity. The Collector NPC also has a reputation level tied to their services giving you access to Decor Boxes containing higher rarity decorative items as your reputation level increases.

You will need a set of 3 to 5 unique decorative NFT items to make a collection. You can view all available collections in the table below:

Collector Tags

To get Collector Tags you’ll first need to complete a full collection. You can view your progress in the “Collections” tab when interacting with the NPC Collector in town. A window will display all possible collections, as well as your current progress towards completing them.

When viewing items in a collection, you’ll notice that some of them have indicator icons. A white icon means the item is in your inventory. A grey one shows how many copies are located outside of your inventory — either placed on your island or stored in your mailbox.

Once you’ve completed a collection, simply click on the “Exchange” button to trade it for some Collector Tags of a specific rarity along with some reputation. You will always receive Collector Tags of a higher rarity than the collection you’ve traded. So a common collection will get you uncommon Collector Tags, an uncommon one will get you rare Tags and a rare one will get you epic Tags.

The amount of tokens you receive will depend on the size and rarity of the collection. In addition to tokens, you’ll also earn some reputation — you’ll need to have a higher reputation level to unlock Decor Boxes containing the highest rarity decorative items.

If the trade button is greyed out, double-check that all items from the collection are in your inventory and not placed around your Home Island or lying in storage.

Decor Boxes

You can purchase Decor Boxes by navigating to the “Decor Boxes” tab. The rarity of available Decor Boxes depend on your current reputation level with the Collector.

Each Decor Box will cost a certain amount of Collector Tags of a matching rarity. Simply click on the “Buy and Open” button to make a purchase and receive your decorative item.

Upon purchasing a Decor Box it will open automatically, the item you receive will be chosen randomly from a potential reward pool and will then be delivered to your mailbox.

Collector Reputation

Reputation is earned every time you trade in a collection. You need to gain enough reputation to increase your reputation level. The level of your reputation determines the rarity of the Decor Boxes that are available to you. There is a special tab where you can see your current reputation as well as how much you need to get to the next level.

In the lead-up to TGE, obtaining collector reputation will be simplified as you’ll receive reputation from handing in collections of any rarity regardless of your current reputation level. In the future, getting to the highest reputation level will only be possible by submitting high rarity collections. This was done deliberately to speed up and streamline the process for those of you who are playing our game and supporting us here and now.
