๐Ÿ“ŒThe $SHARDS Bridge (Official)

A crypto bridge connects two different blockchains so users can move digital assets between them.

At TGE, WorldShards runs on:

  • Ethereum Mainnet (ERC20)

  • Binance Smart Chain (BSC, BEP20)

WorldShards provides a single, official $SHARDS Bridge that lets players transfer $SHARDS between Ethereum โ†” BSC. The bridge contract was independently audited and complies with the latest crypto industry security requirements.

Default issuance: In-game rewards mint $SHARDS as ERC-20 on Ethereum Mainnet. Use the bridge if you want those tokens on BSC (or to move them back).

When you need the bridge

  • You obtained $SHARDS on one network and want to trade/hold them on the other.

  • You want to consolidate balances across chains.

Otherwise, you can simply keep $SHARDS where they were issued.

Security & trust

  • Using a bridge = using a smart contract. Signing a transaction with a contract for any amount of crypto-assets almost always means you give the contract full power of using your assets in the specified amount in any way the contract code deems allowed.

  • The official bridge contract is designed and proven for secure $SHARDS transfers between Ethereum and BSC.

  • Unofficial bridges/contracts claiming to support $SHARDS may cause loss of funds.

Wallet requirements

  • You may use MetaMask or another wallet of your choice.

  • Ensure your chosen wallet(s) are multichain and support Ethereum and BSC.

  • The destination address must support the destination chain. If it doesnโ€™t (e.g., sending to BSC but the wallet doesnโ€™t support BSC), your tokens can be lost.

How to bridge $SHARDS (Ethereum โ†’ BSC with MetaMask)

(BSC โ†’ Ethereum is symmetrical โ€“ just reverse the direction in Step 2)

  1. Open the Bridge

Go to https://bridge.worldshards.online/bridge and click Connect Wallet. Follow your walletโ€™s prompts. If the app asks to switch networks, itโ€™s safe to accept.

  1. Set the Transfer

    • Enter the amount of $SHARDS to bridge.

    • Destination address: by default, this is your connected wallet. To change it, click Edit and carefully paste the new address.

    • Double-check the destination address at every stage.

  1. Confirm & Approve

    • Click Confirm Transaction. The button will switch to Approve.

    • Click Approve to let the bridge contract transfer the specified amount.

  1. Deposit & Sign

    • Click Deposit

  • Your wallet will prompt you to sign and then send the transaction(s)

  • Wait while the networks process the transfer

Known Issues & fixes

  • Gas fees apply on-chain. Expect to spend a few USD equivalent per cross-chain transfer

  • Gas spikes happen: fees can temporarily increase

  • Known minor bug (BSC โ†’ ETH): some wallets may show a misleading warning like โ€œ< $2.29 in BNBโ€

    • Keep ~$3 in BNB to proceed if you see this alert

    • After that, the warning typically disappears and the actual fee is lower

  • After signing, allow time for confirmations and relays to complete

  • Sometimes the destination address may unexpectedly change to the sender address (your own). This can happen after refreshing the page, and occasionally even after clicking buttons. Always double-check the destination address before pressing any button.

  • If you are asked for extra confirmation in MetaMask during a transaction, simply check the box. Weโ€™re aware of this temporary issue and will fix it soon. It will not affect your transaction in any way.

Show $SHARDS in your wallet

By default, your wallet may not display $SHARDS, even if your balance is above. This section will show you how to make $SHARDS visible.

Ethereum (ERC-20)

  • Contract: 0x6efe65c2426b51e9aa0427b96c313e5d8715fd06

  • Network: Ethereum Mainnet

BSC (BEP-20)

  • Contract: 0x38fd4ee2ade8b4be157dfee3d6b8979c78a56145

  • Network: BNB Smart Chain

Decimals: 18

  • Some wallets fill the name and decimals automatically; others ask you to type them

  • If a wallet wonโ€™t let you set decimals, thatโ€™s fine โ€“ you might see values like X,000,000,000,000,000,000 for $SHARDS until it syncs formatting

  • After adding the token, you should see your $SHARDS balance on the chosen network

Critical reminders

  • Use only the official bridge and official token addresses listed above.

  • Verify youโ€™re on the correct domain and contracts before approving.

  • Never rely on third-party bridges for $SHARDS.

  • Always recheck the destination address and transfer direction.

Stay vigilant, bridge safely, and enjoy WorldShards across both chains!
